Questions? We’ve got you.

What makes D’Lumiere serums different from others?
Every D’Lumiere serum is formulated by Australian dermatologists using clinically proven actives at professional concentrations — but balanced with soothing, hydrating ingredients for everyday comfort. Each formula is also powered by our signature DNA Repair Enzyme, inspired by Nobel Prize–winning research, to help skin correct UV-induced damage at the source. The result is potent, results-driven skincare that feels refined, never harsh.
How do I know which serum is right for me?
Each serum targets a specific goal—yet they’re designed to complement one another:
Antioxidant Day Serum (Vitamin C 20%) → Brightens, firms, and defends against free-radical damage.
Brightening Serum (Vitamin B3 10%) → Evens tone, calms redness, and strengthens the barrier.
Night Serum (AHA 20%) → Smooths texture, refines pores, and accelerates cell renewal overnight.
Blemish Control AHA 20% → Targets congestion, excess oil, and post-acne marks. If you’re unsure, start with Vitamin C by day and Niacinamide (B3) by night—it’s our most universally loved pairing.
Can I layer or combine these serums?
Yes, and they’re designed for it. You can safely layer Vitamin C (AM) with Niacinamide (PM) for daily brightness and balance. Our exfoliating AHA serums (Night Serum or Blemish Control) should be used on alternate nights from Vitamin A or other acids. If layering two in one routine, always apply from thinnest to thickest texture, waiting 30–60 seconds between steps.
Are high-strength actives like 20% Vitamin C or 20% AHA safe for sensitive skin?
They are when formulated the D’Lumiere way. Each high-performance serum is buffered with hydrators like Glycerin, Sodium PCA, and Panthenol to offset irritation while keeping potency intact. If you’re new to actives, start slowly—2-3 nights per week for AHA, daily for Vitamin C—and build as your skin adjusts. You’ll feel renewal, not redness.
How soon will I see results?
Most users notice a healthier glow within the first 7–14 days, followed by visible improvements in tone, texture, and firmness within 3–6 weeks. Consistent use delivers compounding benefits—stronger barrier function, brighter complexion, and smoother skin that continues to improve over time.
Can I use D’Lumiere serums after professional treatments?
You can — but always check first. Because our serums contain clinically potent actives like Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and AHA, it’s important to confirm with your dermatologist or practitioner before reintroducing them post-procedure. Once your skin is fully healed, our serums can help maintain results between treatments by brightening, hydrating, and supporting long-term barrier strength. It’s the perfect bridge between in-clinic care and daily maintenance — when your doctor says it’s time.
Do your serums help with pigmentation and dark spots?
Absolutely. Both Vitamin C 20% and Niacinamide 10% inhibit melanin transfer and fade existing discoloration, while AHA exfoliants remove dull surface cells for faster turnover. This multi-layered approach brightens safely—without hydroquinone, bleaching, or irritation.
What if I have acne or congestion?
Our Blemish Control AHA 20% was created exactly for that. It unclogs pores, regulates oil, and fades post-acne marks—while maintaining hydration so the skin barrier stays intact. It’s adult-acne-friendly, gender-neutral, and balances skin that feels both oily and dehydrated.
Are D’Lumiere serums cruelty-free and made in Australia?
Yes — every D’Lumiere product is 100% cruelty-free, ethically formulated, and proudly made in Australia under strict dermatological standards. Each ingredient is selected for purity, efficacy, and safety. No parabens. No sulphates. No compromises.
Can I try the serums before committing to full size?
Yes! All four serums are featured in our 14-Day Trial Kit, letting you experience how they feel and perform in synergy. It’s the simplest way to see visible change—and decide which ones your skin loves most—before committing to the full regimen.
Can I use D’Lumiere serums around the eyes or lips?
Yes — with care. Our serums are formulated to be gentle enough for most skin types, including the delicate areas around the eyes and lips. We recommend avoiding direct contact with the lash line or inner eyelid, but you can safely bring Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and AHA serums up to the orbital bone for brightness and fine-line support. For targeted under-eye rejuvenation, pair them with our Firming Eye Cream, which features the same DNA-repair technology in a soothing, ophthalmologist-tested formula.
What’s the best order to apply D’Lumiere serums?
Apply from thinnest to thickest texture after cleansing. Here’s a simple routine to follow:
1. Cleanse with Hydrating Cleanser
2. Apply Vitamin C (AM) or AHA / Niacinamide (PM)
3. Follow with your moisturizer (Day Defence or Night Cream)
4. Finish with SPF in the morning. This layering order ensures each formula absorbs optimally and supports the next.
Will Vitamin C and Niacinamide cause flushing or tingling when combined?
No — not in our formulations. Older studies suggested these ingredients shouldn’t be used together, but modern, stabilized forms like Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and Niacinamide 10% are perfectly compatible. You can safely use them in the same day, alternating AM/PM or layering with a few minutes in between.
Can D’Lumiere serums replace exfoliating scrubs or toners?
Yes — and far more effectively. Our AHA 20% serums provide chemical exfoliation that’s smoother, deeper, and gentler than physical scrubs. They dissolve dead cells, clear pores, and improve skin texture — without the micro-tears or over-drying caused by abrasive exfoliants.
Do D’Lumiere serums help with large pores or rough skin texture?
Absolutely. Our AHA 20% Night Serum refines pores by increasing cellular turnover, while Niacinamide 10% strengthens the skin barrier and tightens pore appearance over time. Most users report smoother texture and visibly smaller pores within 2–3 weeks of consistent use.
How do D’Lumiere serums support collagen production?
Each serum supports collagen renewal in its own way:
Vitamin C (20%) directly boosts collagen synthesis and prevents oxidative breakdown.
AHA (20%) stimulates fibroblast activity by triggering controlled exfoliation.
Niacinamide (10%) strengthens dermal structure and increases elasticity. Combined, they deliver a layered, non-irritating collagen boost that restores firmness and bounce.
What makes D’Lumiere Vitamin C different from other Vitamin C serums?
We use 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, a stabilized, oil- and water-soluble form of Vitamin C that stays active through the product’s entire life. It penetrates deeply without oxidation (no browning or sour smell), and delivers brightening, collagen-boosting benefits with none of the usual irritation. It’s the next generation of Vitamin C—clinically potent, beautifully stable, and incredibly kind to skin.
